today was a super fun and exciting day!!!i love racial harmony!!! (((:

i arrived in sch early today and to think the classrooms were opened which meant we werent locked outside the classroom and uma was so excited about tying ppl's saris. so she made me change into the shirt i would wear and then, she tied my sari for me. haha. i was so excited about my new traditional look, so i tried parading around and wore my accessories and clink clink around with my bangles. i m pleased with myself (: i finally agree my sari was hot pink and not maroon. ok, maybe it was magenta but it was a nice colour, a colour for me, the "bimbo". i m not exactly a bimbo, cuz i m really smart (: haha.

then i was having this huge problem maintaining my balance and kept tripping as i made my way down the stairs.its really humiliating and i couldnt hold my extra cloth thingy on my shoulder in place, ugh, i was sweating profusely. then i was so puzzled how the indian women could withstand walking in such a sari from farrer park to little india, like one whole stretch of shops. this is seriously weird. so i tried to walk to the courtyard.

i was admiring everyone's costumes. they are really nice and fanciful. and mr tan wore the malay male costume. haha. he looked cute. and mr lam too!! he disguised as a hip indian man!!haha.with the moustache and the wig. coolness!!so i was sweating profusely as the climate was really humid and hot, i couldnt stand it, beads of sweat were running down my back. i was about to die and then we were all led to the hall for some concert. the concert was awesome. the chilli padi group is it? ah whatever it is, i think its really nice. (: and hilarious i might add. then after the concert, i was busy snapping pictures with others and taking candid shots. i loved today!! (: i'll upload the picts some other day, havent managed to load them to the computer. i even took some kissing scenes, girl and girl. haha. its awesome (:

there wasnt much lessons, everyone just went around taking picts. i really love taking pict, i might wanna take photography and be a photographer (: i was huddling around in my sari and it kept coming off, so uma had to be my "personal assistant" for that day and went to fix my sari. haha. i think i look ok. (: i m already intending to borrow a baju kebaya for nxt yr. that way i have worn and paraded all the national costumes in singapore. yayness!!

i had a huge catastrophe struggling to get home. i was the centre of attention of the bus. whatever it is, i didnt care. (: i m watching pirates tonight. yay.
